Meet Our Team

Ben Koutelis – Master Electrician / Project Manager

As a lifelong resident of the New Hampshire Seacoast, I have a strong sense of the local community and take pride in working on electrical projects in and around the area. I grew up in Epping and currently reside in Raymond with my wife, son and our dog and cat.

I have worked in the construction field since graduating from high school, starting out in foundations and trying out other trades. In 2007, I began my career in electrical, learning under the guidance and mentorship of a master electrician in a small, two-man shop. This experience taught me the importance of attention to detail and fostering relationships with general contractors and customers. As I developed my skills, I worked for other companies to gain experience in different aspects of the trade and learn from various mentors.

After becoming a journeyman, I spent a couple of years as a foreman, then went on to get my master’s license. This led to more involved roles, running large projects as a foreman and eventually learning the project management side of the trade. I continue to work at improving my skill set and enjoy collaborating with general contractors and customers to bring projects from start to finish, while assisting the skilled foremen and apprentices at Blue Streak Electric.

Blue Streak Electric has been an excellent company to work for. Andrew Howell, the owner, has been supportive in helping me achieve my career goals. Blue Streak Electric provides the opportunity to work on fun and challenging projects, while giving me the trust and freedom to operate as a project manager and use my skills to bring projects together. I enjoy and respect all of my co-workers and have built strong relationships with them.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, family, and friends. I also enjoy getting outside and practicing archery and hunting.
